TODAY I JUST HAD A REALLY STRANGE HEADACHE AND IT INCLUDED DIZZYNESS SO I JUST LAID DOWN FOR ABOUT 20 MINUTES UNTIL I FELT BETTER. I HAVE EXPERIENCED THIS WHEN I WAS YOUNGER AS I WAS IN INTENSE ARIZONA HEAT. TAKING TIME TO ENJOY THE MOMENT OF THE DAY IS IMPORTANT VS. RUSHING FROM ONE THING TO ANOTHER. TAKE A BREAK AND GO OUTSIDE TO SEE WHAT NATURE IS TEACHING YOU. IF THERE ARE CLOUDS THAT FORM CERTAIN IMAGES FOR YOU, LOOK FOR WHAT IS ENTERTAINING IN THEM. KEEP CURIOUS ABOUT WHAT IS HAPPENING TO YOUR BODY, MIND, AND SPIRIT.
MANY PEOPLE KILL THEMSELVES BY WORKING TOO MUCH - A VERSION OF WORKAHOLISM WHICH I HAD WHEN I WAS IN MY 30'S. I JUST ABOUT KILLED MYSELF WORKING 10 - 12 HOUR DAYS AT 10 BUCKS AN HOUR. I HAD THIS MINDSET THAT I NEEDED TO WORK HARD BASED UPON MY UPBRINGING. IT REALLY DID ME NO GOOD. AND ONCE YOU GET VERY ILL FROM YOUR WORK YOU REALIZE THAT WORK IS JUST ONE PART OF YOUR LIFE - IT IS NOT ALL THERE IS...
SO THE LESSON I AM PASSING ON IS TO THINK ABOUT WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY DURING YOUR DAY AND INCLUDE SOMETHING SPIRITUAL AND SOME TIME TO ENJOY YOUT FRIENDS AND HAVE A CHAT WITH A FRIEND ORMEET SOMEONE NEW DURING YOUR WEEK. IT HELPS TO KEEP YOU WELL BALANCED. FROM MY EPISODE OF WORKAHOLISM OR MODERNITIS I THEN BECAME A LIFE COACH AND LEARNED THAT THERE ARE 8 DISTINCT PARTS TO OUR LIVES: SPITITUAL, HEALTH, EXERCISE, ENVIRONMENT THAT YOU LIVE IN, YOUR PERSONAL RELATIONSHIPS, AND YOUR FAMILY ACQUAINTANCES, HOW YOU USE YOUR MIND OR CAREER, AND YOUR FINANCES.
