LAST NIGHT I WENT TO THE SANTA ROSA FARMER'S MARKET AND I VIEWED A HUGE CROWD OF VENDORS AND EVEN MORE PEOPLE EATING AND WATCHING MUSICIANS AS WELL AS BUYING FRESH VEGETABLES AND A CORNUCOPIA OF OTHER THINGS FROM SOAPS TO JEWELRY. I SAMPLED SOME GOOD PEACHES AND APRICOTS. I MET SOME OLD ACQUAINTANCES AND WE CHATTED FOR AWHILE. I HAD SOME PIZZA AND WATCHED ONE OF THE FAMOUS BANDS.
THERE WERE WALL TO WALL PEOPLE DOWN THE CENTER OF FOURTH STREET - I WAS AMAZED AT HOW MANY PEOPLE WERE THERE. I BOUGHT SOME GOOD WALNUT BREAD FROM A BAKERY, AND SPOKE TO SOME ARTISANS WHO MADE GOURDS AND SOME BLACKS WHO MADE DRUMS AS WELL AS AN UNUSUAL SOAP.
