AUCTIONS IN SOUTH DAKOTA

WHEN MY HUSBAND AND I WORKED IN SOUTH DAKOTA AS ARCHAEOLOGISTS, WE DECIDED TO HAVE SOME FUN AND WENT TO WEEKLY AUCTIONS IN A BIG WAREHOUSE ON FRIDAYNIGHTS. THERE ALWAYS SOME BIG MYSTERY BOX THAT THAT WENT FOR ONE DOLLAR. OUR ENTIRE HOUSEHOLD OF BED, DRESSERS, VACUUM CLEANER, AND CLOTHING XCAME FROM THAT AUCTION. WE EVENTUALLY MOVED BACK TO PHOIENIX AFTER 3 SUCCESSFUL YEARS DOING ARCHAEOLOGY IN AND AROUND THE BLACK HILLS.

OTHER PEOPLE CAME TO THE AUCTION TO TO HAVE SOME ENTERTAINMENT VS, TO BUY SOMETHING. WE ALSO FOUND A SCHOOL WHERE WE PLAYED VOLLEYBALL. AT ONE TIME WE THOUGHT WE MIGHT SPEND OUR ENTIRE LIVES IN SOUTH DAKOTA, BUT DECIDED IT WAS JUST TOO UNCULTURED FOR US.
