PETER PAN THEATER PLAY

LAST NIGHT I WENT TO THE PLAY CALLED PETER PAN AT THE SRJC REP THEATER. IT WASREALLY FUN AND HAD ALL KINDS OF ACTION! PETER PAN WAS AN ACROBAT AND HR TAUGHT THE DARLING KIDS HOW TO FLY. TINKER BELL WAS DRESSED IN ALL BLACK AND HAD A SHINING LIGHT. HE INTERPRETED WHAT SHE WAS SAYING TO THE AUDIENCE. THE SET HAD LONG NYLON DRAPES THAT THEY USED TO SWING AND DO ACROBATICS ON! IT WAS REAL CLEVER HOW THEY SET THE STAGE.

THEY HAD LADIES DRESSED AS PIRATES, ONE WITH A CLAW HAND AND THEY FOUGHT WITH THE FAMILY AND PETER PAN. THERE WERE SEVERAL OTHER DANCERS DRESSED IN COSTUMES OF RAGS WHO INTERACTED WITH PETER PAN AND BECAME SHAWDOWS. THE PROPS WERE VERY CLEVER. THE ACTORS COME FROM ALL DIFFERENT UNIVERSITIES AND PLAY HERE DURING THE SUMMER. I DID NOT QUITE UNDERSTAND THEIR PRESENTATION AS THEY USED PHASES THAT WERE VERY SHORT AND SUBTLE. SOME OF THE ACTORS DID NOT SPEAK LOUD. OVERALL WE ENJOYED THE SHOW, AND THEIR WERE MANY CHILDREN THERE.
