SANTE FE ARTISANS AND ATMOSPHERE

I HAVE BEEN TO SANTE FE SEVERAL TIMES. ONCE AS I TRAVELED AND DUG IN NEW MEXICO. A SECOND TIME I WENT WITH MY FAMILY AND MOM TO TRAVEL FROM ALBUQUERQUE TO MANY OF THE PUEBLOS IN NEW MEXICO. THE TOWN OF SANTE FE HAS AN ARRAY OF CHURCHES, SHOPS, MUSEUMS, AND JEWELRY STORES AS WELL AS TRADES PEOPLE SELLING THEIR CRAFTS AROUND THE SQUARE. MY MOM BOUGHT A NICE RING FROM AN EXPENSIVE SHOP THERE. SHE LIKES TO WEAR MANY RINGS.

WE VIEWED A NICE FOLKLORE MUSEUM IN SANTE FE WHICH HAD REPLICAS OF MANY SMALL MEXICAN VILLAGES. I REALLY LIKED IT.

THE FEEL OF SANTE FE IS LIKE MEXICO WITH AN EXPENSIVE TWIST. THERE ARE SO MANY MEXICAN RESTAURANTS THERE AS WELL. THERE ARE SO MANY JEWELRY SHOPS AND INDIAN SCULPTURE SHOPS THAT IT IS DIFFICULT TO FIGURE OUT HOW PEOPLE COMPETE WITH EACH OTHER. APPARENTLY THE CITY ALLOWS PEOPLE TO BURN FIRE WOOD IN THEIR HOUSES AS IT SMELLS LIKE MESQUITE AT NIGHT. IT IS AT AN ALTITUDE THAT PEOPLE NEED TO HAVE SOME HEAT AT NIGHT, BUT NOT IN THE SUMMER. THE AIR QUALITY SEEMS SOMEWHAT POOR BECAUSE OF THE POPULATION EXPLOSION THERE. I LIKE THE TOWN ANYWAY..
