FLOWER SHOWS AT THE FAIR

I'VE BEEN TO THE LARGE FAIR IN SONOMA COUNTY AND I THOROUGHLY ENJOY THE LARGE FLOWER SHOW THAT THEY HAVE AT THE FAIR. IT ALWAYS HAS APPEALED TO ME; AND I HAVE KNOWN SOME OF THE NURSERIES INVOLVED IN THE SHOW, AS THEY ARE VERY DIVERSE IN THIS COUNTY. I THINK LAST YEAR'S THEME WAS DINOSAURS. IT WAS A GREAT DISPLAY OF LARGE DINOSAURS PROBABLY MADE OF PAPER MACHE AND WIRE STRUCTURES IN A JUNGLE-LIKE ENVIRONMENT.

THE FLOWERS AND TREES INVOLVED WERE LARGE BANANA-LIKE TREES AND PALMS; BROMELIADS, AND SOME ORCHIDS. OTHER DESIGNS LOOKED LIKE THEY WERE IN SOUTH AMERICA WITH MOSS ON THE TREES AND GRASS COVERED HILLS AND INCLUDED SOME PAPER MACHE SNAKES.

THE FLOWER SHOW IS ALWAYS MY FAVORITE THING TO VIEW AT THE FAIR. MY NEXT FAVORITE SHOW AT THE FAIR IS THE CRAFTS BOOTH!
