HOW TO STAY ON TRACK

PEOPLE OFTEN LOOSE FOCUS ON WHAT IS IMPORTANT TO THEM BECAUSE THEY ARE DRIVEN TO WORK HARD FOR THEMSELVES OR THEIR BOSSES. IF YOU STAY TRUE TO YOUR INTERNAL COMPASS YOU WILL ALWAYS FEEL GOOD ABOUT WHO YOU ARE. IN THIS WAY YOU WILL KNOW THAT YOU ARE OFFERING THE WORLD YOUR BEST EFFORTS.

WHEN YOU BECOME PERSUADED BY OTHERS TO DO THINGS YOU DO NOT WANT TO DO, YOU PROBABLY FEEL AWKWARD AND BECOME LESS TRUE TO YOURSELF AND WHO YOU ARE. IT IS IMPORTANT TO FOLLOW YOUR NORTH STAR AND GUIDE YOURSELF INTO THE DIRECTION AND GOALS THAT YOU HAVE SET FORTH.

1. SET BOUNDARIES - REALIZE THAT OTHERS MAY STEP INTO YOUR PRESENCE AND DISAGREE WITH YOU. KEEP THEM AWARE THAT YOU HAVE STRONG BOUNDARIES BY LETTING THEM KNOW HOW YOU FEEL.

2. KEEP YOURSELF HEALTHY BY EATING THE RIGHT FOODS (WHOLE GRAINS AND A BALANCED DIET) AS WELL AS EXERCISING DURING THE DAY OR NIGHT.

3. GET SUPPORT FROM FRIENDS OR PEOPLE AT CHURCH WHENEVER YOU NEED TO.

4. GET PLENTY OF SLEEP TO HELP SUSTAIN YOU DURING THE DAY.

5. FIND WAYS TO HAVE FUN AND ENJOY EACH DAY YOU ARE ALIVE.

6. DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT EACH DAY TO STIMULATE YOUR MIND.

7. INSTEAD OF WATCHING TV DO SOMETHING WITH YOUR FRIENDS OR FIND A PLACE TO HIKE; OR ENJOY A CRAFT EITHER WITH SOMEONE OR BY YOURSELF.

8. STAY MOTIVATED BY HAVING A FRIEND KEEP YOU ACCOUNTABLE TO YOUR GOALS.
