MY FAVORITE PROFESSIONAL COACH

AS A COACHING STUDENT FOR 3 YEARS WORKING PART TIME I EXPERIENCED MANY DIFFERENT COACHING INSTRUCTORS WHO HAD THE DISTINCTION OF A MASTERS CERTIFIED COACH. MY FAVORITE TEACHER WAS MARGARET KRIGBAUM WHO ALWAYS HAD SUCH INTERESTING TOPICS AND GAVE US GREAT ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF OUR RESPONSES TO HER QUESTIONS. I REALLY NEEDED HER CLASSES WHEN I WAS TAKING CARE OF A FAMILY MEMBER DURING HER DEMENTIA AND ALZTHEIMER'S. IF NOT FOR THESE CLASSES I PROBABLY WOULD HAVE GONE CRAZY. I USED THE SKILLS OF THE COACHING WORLD TO BECOME A GREAT OUTDOOR RETREAT COACH AND REALIZE HOW TO ACHIEVE MY GOALS.

MARGARET AND SOME OF THE OTHER COACHES IN OUR CLASSES HELPED TO DEVELOP US IN MANY DIFFERENT WAYS AND BECOME MORE AUTHENTIC TO WHO WE WERE AND USE OUR INNATE SKILLS IN OUR LIVES. I BECAME AN EFFECTIVE LECTURER AND DEVELOPED WORKSHOPS FOR A WIDE VARIETY OF ORGANIZATIONS INCLUDING BNI, KIWANIS, ROTARY, CANCER GROUPS, AND ELDERHOSTEL.

MARGARET TAUGHT US HOW TO FIGURE OUT OUR ESSENCE - WHICH IS HOW WE FEEL ABOUT OURSELVES AND HOW WE EXPRESS OURSELVES TO OTHERS. IT IS WHAT THE NATIVE AMERICANS KNEW FROM BIRTH - THEY WERE TAUGHT TO FEEL CONFIDENT ABOUT THEIR ROLE IN THEIR COMMUNITY.
