1. GET VERY CLOSE TO SOMETHING IN NATURE AND LET IT INCORPORATE YOUR ENTIRE VIEW. FOCUS ALL OF YOUR ATTENTION ON ONE OBJECT. YOU CAN TAKE A LARGE PLASTIC BAG WITH YOU AND SIT UPON IT OR TAKE A LAWN CHAIR WITH YOU. USE ALL SENSES WITH THE OBJECT.
2. ASK YOURSELF WHAT DRAWS YOU TO THAT PARTICULAR OBJECT.
3. ASK THE OBJECT WHAT CAN IT TEACH YOU ABOUT YOUR LIFE. OR WRITE WHAT IT FEELS LIKE TO BE THAT OBJECT. WRITE WHAT YOUR SURROUNDINGS FEEL LIKE AND WHAT ELSE IS HAPPENING IN THIS ENVIRONMENT. WHAT WOULD IT BE LIKE TO BE THAT OBJECT FROM A HUMAN PERSPECTIVE? BE OPEN TO LISTEN AND BE A STUDENT WITH AN OPEN HEART.
4. ELIMINATE THINGS THAT DRAIN OR SUCK YOUR ENERGY, INCLUDING:
SITUATIONS IN PREVIOUS TIMES THAT GIVE YOU ADRENALINE
THINGS THAT DON'T SERVE YOUR PRESENT LIFE
5. OVERALL SIMPLIFY. ASK YOURSELF WHAT CAN YOU DO THAT HELPS YOU CLEAR OUT THE MESSES IN YOUR LIFE? KEEP THINGS SIMPLE AND THROW AWAY THINGS THAT YOU DO NOT NEED OR WANT.
